Harp Crafts began in September 2023 and was lovingly named after my beautiful daughter, Harper, who is the inspiration behind everything I do.
I have always enjoyed crafting, and what started as a simple hobby quickly grew into something much bigger. In the evenings, once Harper was tucked up in bed, I would spend my quiet “me time” crocheting blankets and other handmade items to relax. I began selling a few pieces to friends, but before long the orders started to grow and what began as a small creative outlet quickly turned into a thriving little business.
My hope from the very beginning was to build something that would allow me to keep doing what I love while also being able to look after Harper as she grows up. I’m incredibly grateful to say that nearly three years later, that dream is still very much a reality.
One day I hope Harper will be incredibly proud of what her mummy has created. When she’s a little older, I’d love for her to join me in making products too, and hopefully Harp Crafts will grow into a true family business.
Three years on, I’m proud to now stock a range of my handmade items in two wonderful local shops — Café Norah & Norah Home and Glam Doll Glitter Parties.
You can also browse my online shop here on the website for ready-made items. I’m always happy to take custom orders too, so if you see something you love but would like it in a different colour, or if you have an idea for something you can’t see in the shop, please feel free to get in touch. I love working with customers to bring their ideas to life.
Be sure to check back regularly as I’m always creating new designs and expanding my range.
Thank you so much for visiting and for supporting a small family business.
